Ark Medica

Ark Medica are an international company that provides medical and pharmaceutical services to Africa and the Middle East. We created a logotype that used both sans serif (Perpetua) and serif (Gotham) typefaces to create a sense of modernity combined with the feeling of tradition and reliability that serif faces often convey. The logo also includes the pharmaceutical symbol [Rx] for a prescription and which has its origins in ancient signifiers for protection.
